Project description
TRALES aims at the development of a didactical concept for a transnational learning factory of vocational education for the professions and activities in mechatronics and tool mechanics.
TRALES aims at the development of a didactical concept for a transnational learning factory of vocational education for the professions and activities in mechatronics and tool mechanics as well as at the creation of a catalog of requirements for teachers in the transnational learning factory. Learning factories offer great potential, as qualifications can be provided in a very workplace-oriented manner and close to professional practice.
Basically, learning factories are:
- Teaching and learning places of vocational education according to the vocational pedagogical goal of interaction, which is oriented towards the ability to act
- A place of cooperation and networking in the sense of the transfer of knowledge and experience as well as a hub of the Exchange of learning cultures, ideas and solutions.
On the didactic level, the learning factory is oriented towards professional skills, knowledge and abilities of the professions, which is structuring in the partner regions. The concept will be designed in such a way that the overall process of production process can be taught using digitalized technologies and teaching/learning activities can take place interactively. At the methodological level methods that support self-directed learning will be integrated: hybrid and asynchronous learning formats, guiding texts, learning projects, WBL.
With the description of the catalog of requirements for teachers in the transnational learning factories an instrument for their qualification will be developed, to enable the institutions of vocational education to integrate the concept of the learning factory into the respective educational processes.
The TRALES requirements catalog for teachers describes the competencies that are desirable for teachers in vocational education and training in order to be able to impart knowledge at transnational learning locations, to initiate international projects and to be active in transnational partnerships. A special focus regards the definition of soft skills competences for teaching.
All deliverables are available in different formats - digital and print - in English and the respective national languages.
